The food is fantastic, service spot on. Ambience do not know as I always go through the drive through.
Great food and service need to bring back the salsa sampler they had before instead of the salsa and chip they hand out now.
The bad reviews must be from negative folks or folks that just hit them on a "bad day". I've not ever had a bad experience. The folks are nice, and the food is good. Sure the prices have bumped a little bit, but thanks to runaway inflation, everything has gone up. My usual wait time is about 10 minutes, if they are busy it's 15. They don't advertise to be "fast food", but face it, if you go to Whataburger, you'll sit for 20 minutes as well. These folks have a great product and friendly service. I go whenever I'm back in town, which is a few times a month. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews, unfounded and/or rare "off day" for the place.
This is the second time I have been here and the food is just amazing. I love the fajita nachos. The restaurant is clean and the food is fresh. Customer service was on point.
There is NO Mexican restaurant in Lufkin that has better Fajita Beef dishes. I always liked chicken, but the beef will melt in your mouth. If you haven't been to Mexico Express, you are missing the best Mexican food in Lufkin.
